Description

4 July 1987 saw Hertfordshire Railtours run "The Independant" from London to Kidderminster and Loughborough. Passengers transferred to separate trains at both locations for the Severn Valley Railway and Great Central Railway, the latter being around half a mile away on foot.

Seen at Loughborough prior to working the final leg back to London with 37044 and 37091 behind. Train details were 1Z37, 07:30 Finsbury Park to London Euston.
