English: During exercise Iberian Resolve on the Glamoc live-fire range in western Bosnia, Portuguese soldiers from the 2nd Armored Division prepare to fire a Milan anti tank missile at an abandoned tank located approx 2 kilometers away. The Milan missile is a portable medium range, 2 kilometers class, anti-tank weapon manufactured by Euromissile. The first stage burns for 1.5 seconds to eject the missile from the launcher to a distance of about 3 m, and then the second stage burns for 11 seconds giving a speed of over 200 metres/second and maximum range of 2 km for a 12.5 second time-of-flight. The objective of Iberian Resolve is to integrate Multinational Division OPRES Ground forces from the Portuguese 2nd Armored Division and OPRES Air Forcesfrom the U.S. Army's 1-25 Aviation into a combined live fire exercise.
