Description CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti - U.S. Air Force Gen. Joseph L. Lengyel (right), 28th Chief of the National Guard Bureau (CNGB) and member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is greeted by U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Michael D. Turello, commanding general, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), along with members of his staff, and Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ) leadership, upon arrival on base for the last stop of the USO Star Spangled Variety Tour, July 7, 2019. The last stop on the annual USO Tour led by Gen. Lengyel, included six countries in Europe, Southwest Asia and Africa, designed to boost morale and express thanks and appreciation to deployed U.S. forces and their families for their service and sacrifice in support of the Joint Force mission. Performers on the tour include: actress Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory); singer Laura Bryna; comedian Anjelah Johnson; Nia Franklin (2019 Miss America); actress Toni Trucks (Seal Team); The Voice champion singer Cassadee Pope; and former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
