Description
Deutsch: Obelisk im Park Sanssouci, Potsdam. Der Steinpfeiler wurde 1748 am östlichen Ende der Parkanlage errichtet. Der 63 Fuß hohe Obelisk ist kein Monolith, sondern ist als Mauerwerk ausgeführt. Auch die Hieroglyphen sind reine Dekoration.
English: Obelisk in Sanssouci Park, Potsdam. The stone pillar was erected in 1748 at the eastern end of the park. The 63 foot high obelisk is not a monolith, but is made of masonry. The hieroglyphs are also pure decoration.
