Description
Deutsch: Krabbenfresserrobben (Crabeater Seal, Lobodon carcinophagus), beheimatet an der Küste der Antarktis. Die Robbenart ernähren sich vom Krill (Antarktische Garnelenart). Ausgewachsene Tiere sind bis zu 3 Meter lang und wiegen bis zu 200 Kilogramm. Gesehen nahe der Almirante Brown Station.
English: Crabeater seals (Lobodon carcinophagus), native to the coast of Antarctica. The seal species feed on krill (Antarctic shrimp species). Adult animals are up to 3 meters long and weigh up to 200 kilograms. Seen near the Almirante Brown Station.
