Description
Deutsch: Auferstehungskirche - Blutkirche (russisch Собор Воскресения Христова на Крови)in St. Petersburg. Die Kirche wurde von 1883 – 1907 erbaut und ist mit zahlreichen Mosaiken verziert. Man errichtete die Kirche an der Stelle, an der auf Kaiser Alexander II. 1881 ein tödliches Attentat verübt wurde.
English: Church of the Saviour on the Blood (Russian Собор Воскресения Христова на Крови) in St. Petersburg, Russia. The church was built between 1883 and 1907 and is decorated with numerous mosaics. The church was built on the spot where Emperor Alexander II was murdered in 1881.
