Description
English: Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A view of Grainger Street Newcastle upon Tyne taken in 1868. In the foreground to the left is part of the Newcastle Savings Bank. Adjoining the Savings Bank to the left is the shop of George Angus a rubber merchant. The shop later became the premises of W.E. Harker. Designed by Gibson Kyle, carving by J.W. Appleyard.
