| Description |
English: Wellingborough railway station, Northamptonshire Opened in 1857 by the Midland Railway on the line from Bedford to Leicester. View north towards Finedon and Leicester. Compare to SP9068 : Wellingborough railway station, Northamptonshire, 2013 taken from a similar position. Recent modernisation has seen the lines electrified, the two former platforms on the right brought back into use and the footbridge extended and provided with lifts. The old goods shed to the left also now has a walkway through it. |
