English: A memorial plaque to John Kemp set into the east wall of the chancel inside Saint Mary's parish church which is located in the village of Antingham, Norfolk, England. The inscription reads Here resteth in the lord the body of John Kempe Esq., second son to Robert Kempe of Gissing, Esq., who had issue by Anne the daughter of Robert Cudden, Esq., Robert sonne and heire, who made this monument remembering immortality in the hope of resurrection the XVIII of Novemember, Anno Domini 1610 aetatis 76.
Robert, who lived in Cromer, acquired property in and around Antingham vie his first wife Ann Calthorpe. John bequeathed in his will, sums to the poor and reparation of the churches at North Walsham, Worsted, Fritton, and Antingham. He is buried in the churchyard of Saint Mary's.
