Summary
[edit]Description-1932- Spring Usher (Agriopis leucophaearia) (49288930861).jpg |
Spring Usher - My earliest by 5 days - Stevenage, North Herts Last night was an expected blank, it was a little cooler than expected and so I only ran the 30w Actinic combo (15w Actinic/15w Synergetic). It was nice to find an actual moth by the morning.... no rush getting to the trap either. Even though I was up before 7, it was still dark at 8am. Spring Usher was the only moth on the wall behind the trap, nothing but flies in the trap! This is my earliest record of a Spring Usher by 5 days and the peak for my garden is generally at the end of February. Trap is on again tonight and so far, a Winter Moth has saved my bacon. |
