Description

The Russian-Japanese War is presented as a football game. Russian General Kuropatkin has the ball of forward movement, while Japanese Generals Oku, Oyama, Kuroki, and Nozu attempt to stop him. The caption reads 'Kuropatkin at Last Has the Ball - Can He Make His Distance?' Kuropatkin had launched a new Russian offensive in Manchuria, in an effort to relieve the siege of Port Arthur.
