Description

A Railroad Magnate does his own shopping, as a newspaper declares '2 cent rate in 14 states' The caption reads "Mrs. Railroad President - Why, John, what are you doing? Mr. Railroad President - Doing? Why, just getting used to it, of course. Knew the 2-cent fare bill had passed in Arkansas, didn't ye?" Because a number of states were passing fare restrictions, railroad profits were slimming.
