Description:

Caissette métallique intégralement bronzée, noire, décrite à tort comme "une boîte médicale US" ; il s'agit en réalité d'une rare caissette d'accessoires pour le colt 45 américain. Tige faisant charnière et passant au travers de quatre éléments du couvercle et de trois, de la caisse proprement dite. Poignée sur la partie avant, en longueur ; deux fixations. La caisse est vide, mais contenait à l'origine un support en bois sur lequel venaient s'encastrer différents éléments tels que : burette d'huile, boîte à graisse, petits outils, écouvillons etc...

Marques, inscriptions, poinçons: "US" (estampé dans un cercle, en creux, sur le couvercle).
