Description
English: Skeletal formula of the 2-bromo-1-chloropropane molecule, C3H6BrCl. The absolute configuration at the stereogenic carbon atom (the "asymmetric carbon") is deliberately unspecified or ambiguous, indicated by a wavy bond between C and Br. This kind of wavy bond can be used to mean a racemic mixture (equal amounts of each enantiomer present), or to mean a single enantiomer without specifying which one.
