Summary
[edit]Description(1438) Trachycera suavella - Flickr - Bennyboymothman.jpg |
Very Lackey Blacky Well the weather has been very up and down with some breezy and very wet nights, but with decent night time temperatures at least. Tuesday night was no different. We did get a shower sometime during the night as the perspex collar had rain-drops on it, but at the time of emptying the trap it was nice and dry. Some more fantastic moths were to be observed. Lackey made it onto the 2014 list, after I recorded it a day earlier last year, but the best moth was a Waved Black a garden first and Macro number 247 for the garden. Three Trachycera suavella's were the best of the Micro's. I have yet to see a Trachycera advenella, although my records seem to indicate it flying more end of July/early August.
