雲林縣長張麗善18日晚間與縣政總顧問張清良、秘書長曾元煌率縣府一級主管欣賞北港光影藝術節，觀看森森不息街頭劇場精彩表演，張麗善表示，北港燈會不僅各燈區有融合傳統與創新的花燈布展，還有精彩藝術展演等活動，張縣長也趁機向民眾宣傳WBC官辦熱身賽將在3/5、3/6於雲林斗六棒球場開打，兩天6場賽事，歡迎球迷看完球賽後，順道到北港拜媽祖、看花燈、看表演、品嚐美食。
張麗善縣長一行人與議員蔡東富於晚間7時許抵達水道文化園區，在導覽人員解說下參觀燈區，還與民眾一起坐在草地上觀賞森森不息街頭劇場整場次表演；儘管今天是補班日，各燈區都吸引滿滿參訪人潮，民眾對美侖美奐的花燈，與燈區布展的創意巧思讚不絕口。
張麗善縣長表示，森森不息街頭劇場團長趙敦毅是雲林土庫人，也是她的小學弟，他勇敢離開雲林追夢，現在把他的熱情再帶回雲林，實踐他等學有專精後回來雲林傳遞藝術的承諾，更謝謝他為賞燈的民眾帶來一場場精彩的表演。
張麗善縣長指出，雲林從來就不是文化沙漠，而是深藏不露，文化觀光處策劃融合傳統與創新的主燈區與五副燈區，提供劇團表演舞台，讓大小朋友有機會欣賞到高水準演出。

2023年北港燈會以光影藝術節為主題，融合傳統與創新，除邀請國際燈光大師周鍊透過光雕技術打造北港朝天宮成巨型花燈作為主燈區外，集結十一位藝師與藝術家聯手操刀近二十組作品，主燈區與五個副燈區各有特色，呈現最精采燈會原鄉，歡迎全國民眾3月12日前來觀賞。
