Description
中文（臺灣）：本圖為1960年代位於花蓮縣中山路東端的「花蓮舊火車站」前方廣場。圖中可見當時的大眾日常與歷史痕跡，交通工具主要以腳踏車為主，而道路亦尚未鋪上整齊的柏油。另外，圖中的車站模樣，相較於1949年（民國38年）的樣態，其外觀已被漆上白色泥灰，而原有的車站時鐘與兩旁的臺鐵徽章則被取下。再者，車站右前方有座造型別緻的路燈，為1930年代花蓮港驛擴建時所設置，一共有兩座，分別位於車站左前、右前兩側，而此兩座路燈一直被使用到1970年代才遭到拆除。本資料出自於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》，此書由花蓮出身的葉柏強先生撰寫，是一本擁有大量歷史影像的書籍，於2016年（民國105年）出版，可以透過此書了解花蓮的城市變遷樣貌。
