中文：駐約旦代表處與美慈組織約旦分部共同扶助敘利亞難民青少女教育

駐約旦代表處買代表睿明本（110）年11月30日代表中華民國與美慈組織（Mercy Corp）約旦分部代表Mrs. Kari Diener簽署「青少女賦權倡議」計畫第二期合作備忘錄，捐助30萬美元提供Azraq及Zaatari兩難民營敘利亞難民青少女基本生活技能及提高衛生保健意識教育，輔導身心健康。
買代表致詞時表示：中華民國政府與約旦關係深厚悠遠，約國於敘利亞內戰爆發以來，已接納超過140萬敘國難民，對國際社會作出積極貢獻，而我國基於人道立國精神及國際社會負責任成員立場，積極與約旦政府、理念相近國家、國際組織及當地非政府組織合作，近年來政府及社會團體在約旦累計已提供超過2千萬美元，援助敘利亞難民與受影響之約國弱勢民眾。
美慈組織約旦分部Diener代表感謝中華民國政府自2013年起持續與美慈組織合作提供在約旦敘利亞難民及對約旦弱勢社區人道援助工作，援助項目涵蓋難民營內之電腦教室，青少年活動場域等硬體設施，乃至近二年來之「Ishrak(參與)」及此次「青少女賦權倡議」計畫，強調受新冠肺炎疫情影響，在難民營生計益行艱困情形下，此案第一期計畫適時提供難民營內青少女所需身心輔導、衛生教育及領導才能與表述能力建構獲得實質成果，再度感謝我國持續贊助本案。

此次合作，再次證明我國政府對敘利亞難民議題之關懷與實際行動，也印證「臺灣能幫忙，而且臺灣正在幫忙」（Taiwan can help, and Taiwan is helping!）。
