| Description |
中文（臺灣）： 羅大春開闢蘇花古道時曾捐金500圓，以台灣兵備道夏獻綸在蘇澳晉安宮旁興建瓦屋三間與草屋兩間充作義學，為蘇澳地區官辦教育之始。1875（光緒元）年時由蘇澳、北方澳、南方澳等三澳總董領銜，立碑紀念羅大春興學。碑文如下：
「蘇澳背山面海 距蘭城五十里 歸化之番雜處南北兩澳 其地距生番社不遠 地僻人稀 民番識丁者少 同治甲戌之秋 欽命福建全省提督軍門衝勇巴圖魯功加一等羅奉旨統帥台北 駐紮蘇澳 督率弁勇進闢後山 沿山伐木開路 直達泗波瀾大港北岸 計程三百餘里 沿途撫番衛民 招墾之外 復蒙惠及民番 自捐資銀五百員 札廳生息 永于蘇澳設立義學 酌議條款嚴訂章程 並將欽命台澎兵備道兼提督學政夏所建蘇澳之廟傍瓦屋三間草屋二棚 咨請撥為課讀學堂 以垂久遠 屯管講武之餘繼以文教 菁莪雅化 又將見於北海濱矣 茲特紀載於石 後之上進者當知木本水源 寔出軍門養育恩深之所致 共誌弗諼云爾 大清光緒元年歲次乙亥六月 日三澳總董 王秀俊 鄭禮泉 黃寶忠 暨舖戶庄民等仝立」。 根據《蘇澳郡勢一覽》，此碑曾被埋於廟內，後經發掘，保管於蘇澳公學校（今蘇澳國小）。目前與羅大春「開路里程碑」同置於蘇澳晉安宮（節錄） |
