中文（臺灣）：蓮花，作者黃德河，材質為蓪草，長：20公分，寬：20公分，高：70公分，含花器高100公分，2012年作品，目前存放在花玉號本舖，地址為宜蘭市城隍街13號。 台灣的蓪草產業，在日治時代，曾與稻米和樟腦並列為重要的經濟產業之一。戰後，被大量生產的塑膠假花所取代，蓪草花遂逐漸沒落。宜蘭蓪草花藝師黃德河，也隨之沉寂了二十餘年，直到2012年，才在文化局指導，宜蘭市鄂王社區發展協會理事長林銘信策劃的宜蘭舊城百工藝展─「花非花」黃德河的蓪草物語，再度使蓪草花重新燃起新的苗火。由於黃德河年事已高，其在自家「花玉號」辦理蓪草紙花藝的傳習課程，皆由其長媳李麗華擔任花藝教師，傳承蓪草紙花藝，讓更多的人了解到蓪草花的藝術之美，提昇蓪草花的價值，而蓮花亦為此時留下的作品，使人不得不對黃德河的藝術天份感到衷敬意和讚嘆，值得典藏。 |
