Description
中文（臺灣）：羅東孔子廟原於1900（明治33）年創建於今羅東鎮日新戲院址，1967年遷建現址，臨北成路入口建有牌樓與禮門義路。進入後有一水池，或有泮池之意。水池之後與大成殿之間，則安奉有一尊白色孔子塑像。此孔子像真人等身全身像，其形象較近似唐代吳道子所繪「先師孔子行教像」，未戴冠帽，僅著布巾，雙手於胸前略往上疊握；左脅下可見佩有長劍，乃沿襲自春秋時期，士者皆佩劍之慣習。此孔子像乃立於梯形基座上，四邊施以孔子周遊列國講學之淺浮雕。
