Description
中文(繁體):排灣族雙管口鼻笛是台灣原住民樂器中唯一可以發出「複音音樂」的樂器,係男子傳達內心情感,或彰顯貴族階級、勇士身分的一種樂器,早期僅頭目或貴族家男子可吹奏。再則,部落裡若有喪事,口鼻笛是禁止吹奏的,但若為貴族家之喪事,則追思者可在貴族家門外吹奏,以示悲戚、懷念。

本作品之吹奏者「拉瓦告」為三地門鄉大社村(舊稱達瓦蘭部落)排灣族「拉瓦爾」族群之「達麗瑪繞」大頭目家系,該口鼻笛乃其祖父「阿流」留傳下來,至今已有一百多年歷史。

排灣族所使用的雙管口、鼻笛,無論是在樂器的發展史、樂器使用的功能性、獨特性,都是世界上絕無僅有,顯見保存並傳承這項民俗文化資產的重要性。
