Description
中文（臺灣）：　　員光，為臺灣傳統建築縱深面向兩根較近之柱子間通樑下方的木作構件，以穩定樑柱，通常施以透雕，也是表現木雕技藝表現之處。宜蘭昭應宮正殿步口員光，位於步通下方，龍虎兩邊主題不同。

　　龍邊員光主題為「喜上眉梢」，是相當常見的吉祥圖案。其兩端與上端邊框是以一對口啣卷軸之螭虎所構成，框內雕以梅樹，樹梢梅花盛開，樹梢間亦雕有數隻喜鵲。

　　虎邊員光主題為「松鼠葡萄」，松鼠或老鼠的繁殖力強，葡萄多籽，二者並置以寓意「多子多孫」。此員光的兩端與上端邊框是以一對口啣卷軸之螭虎所構成，框內雕以葡萄藤蔓與葉子、結實累累的葡萄，以及數隻的松鼠。
