Description
中文（臺灣）：　　宜蘭昭應宮前殿中港間身堵與腰堵均為螭虎主題之木雕，其圖案構成與前後深度的表現頗具特色，展現出清代道光年間的木雕技藝。

　　螭虎團瓶是臺灣傳統建築常見之主題，螭虎又稱「夔龍」，有趨吉辟邪之意。昭應宮中港間身堵中央的木雕花堵之螭虎團瓶，由4對螭虎所構成，每隻螭虎頭部有清楚可見近似龍頭的鼻子與眼睛，身體由木雕後層往前層似蟠龍狀，組成一個花瓶的形狀，具平安之寓意。此螭虎團瓶的木雕，在瓶身中央與兩側各雕以一隻蝙蝠，四隻蝙蝠有「賜福」之意。

　　昭應宮中港間腰堵的四堵木雕，同樣是螭虎與蝙蝠的組合，畫面主要由兩隻螭虎組成，螭虎的身體盤曲並繞到螭虎頭部的後方，表現出深度感；另一較具特色之處，是螭虎的四爪清楚可見。在此木雕四角則雕以四隻蝙蝠，象徵「賜福」。
