中文（臺灣）：一百多年前，中部兩大港口之一就在不遠處(塗葛堀)，聽說海上滿滿都是帆船，很熱鬧的。
後來，一場洪水吞沒了整個塗葛堀，倖存的居民遷移到村子裡。 後來的後來，又一場洪水，大肚溪改道了，從此之後大肚溪從村子旁邊注入台灣海峽。 然後，他們在海上變出一塊陸地，大煙囪豎起，開始運轉。 然後，他們說這裡是中部最大的水鳥棲息地，所以也劃了一塊保護區。 不多也不少，十多年來煙囪已經增加到五支，附近的天空被電塔占據，有人說是什麼世界第一的。 同時中游也多了好多違章工廠，捕來的魚有種味道，村民們紛紛到外海去，而不在溪口捕魚了。 這幾年，有人在附近發現一種叫爐碴的東西，聽說很毒。 政府在海堤上建了一座藍白色的建築物，說是什麼地中海的，好多人來拍照 … … … 我們生活在這裡。 -- 大肚溪口野生動物保護區，曾是中部重要的水鳥棲息地，同時也擁有全台最大的雲林莞草族群，然而在錯誤的政策和管理下，竟緊臨著排碳量世界第一的燃煤電廠以及重工業，大肚溪中上游流域更是滿布著違章工廠，環境改變所造成的影響，導致來此過冬的候鳥數銳減，雲林莞草族群也幾近滅亡。百年來，大肚溪畔的麗水村經歷了洪水的恐惧，也目賭過漫天飛鳥的盛況，如今，只能與數不清的高壓電塔，以及不時出現的汙染相伴，而議員則爭取經費，在海堤上建了一座建築物，並塗成最流行的藍白相間。 |
