中文（繁體）：世界著名珍貴竹種。中國原生。名稱由來：竹桿看來如一般竹子的圓筒狀，觸摸則為方形。竹節上有一圈刺狀凸起，依據《中国植物志》 第9(1)卷 (1996), (http://www.iplant.cn/info/Chimonobambusa%20quadrangularis?t=z) 應是氣生根。節上側枝常為3枝或2枝，並常呈之字型。 攝於台灣南投縣溪頭自然教育園區，2022年1月12日。
English: The world famous precious bamboo species. Native to China. Origin of name: Bamboo poles appear to be cylindrical like ordinary bamboos, but they are square to the touch. There is a circle of short thorns on the node, which should be aerial roots according to the 《中国植物志》(FRPS), Vol. 9(1) (1996), (http://www.iplant.cn/info/Chimonobambusa%20quadrangularis?t=z). The lateral branches on nodes are often 3 or 2 , and they are often zigzag. Photo taken at Xitou Nature Education Park, Nantou County, Taiwan, 2022/01/12. |
