Description
中文（臺灣）：1955年4月29日，宜蘭市北館市場發生軍民糾紛事件。當時有位在宜蘭地區服役的軍人，因故與北館市場麵攤老闆發生衝突，該名軍人即回到軍中竊取一枚手榴彈，並返回麵攤尋仇。當時正在宜蘭火車站前執勤的憲兵上士彭福共接獲民眾報案後即趕赴現場處理，該名軍人見憲兵前來，一時緊張拔開了手榴彈插銷引信，彭福共為避免民眾傷亡，除立即疏散民眾外，更奮不顧身將肇事軍人撲倒，連同手榴彈一起壓在地上而身亡。其後，即將其葬在員山鄉新城埔大眾廟前，當時的宜蘭縣長甘阿炎、宜蘭市長陳阿呆與宜蘭各界人士均立碑感念。2005年值此事件50週年，彭福共入祀宜蘭忠烈祠，宜蘭憲兵隊與宜蘭縣後備憲兵荷松協會重修墓園，再立碑紀念。
