Description
中文（简体）：圣索菲亚大教堂气势恢弘，精美绝伦。教堂墙体采用清水红砖，上冠巨大饱满的洋葱头穹顶，统率着四翼大小不同的帐蓬顶，四个楼层之间有楼梯相连，前后左右有四个门出入。正门顶部为钟楼，7座铜铸制的乐钟恰好是7个音符，由训练有素的敲钟人手脚并用，敲打出抑扬顿挫的钟声。

圣索菲亚教堂位于中央大街上，是远东地区最大的东正教堂，通高53.35米，是拜占庭式建筑的典型代表。1997年6月圣索菲亚教堂修复并更名为哈尔滨市建筑艺术馆。

1903年，随着中东铁路的建成通车，沙俄东西伯利亚第四步兵师也侵入了哈尔滨。沙俄为了稳定远离家乡士兵的军心，于1907年破土动工建造圣索非亚教堂，当年一座全木结构的教堂落成，用作该步兵师的随军教堂。1923年9月27日，圣索非亚教堂举行了第二次重建奠基典礼，经过长达9年的精心施工，一座富丽堂皇，典雅超俗的建筑精品竣工落成。
