中文(臺灣):吉安在日治時期被稱作吉野,是花蓮相當有名的移民村,在大正六年(1917年),川端滿二募建了這座「真言宗高野山派吉布教所」,希望以宗教的力量,撫慰當時日本移民到吉野(吉安)的思鄉之情。而寺院內擺放著依序排列的石佛,相傳為川端滿二遵循真言宗開山祖師「空海大師」的遺規,走遍日本四國島上八十八所箇所,把八十八尊石佛一一請回而來,讓居民能夠尋求心靈寄託。1945年臺灣光復後,吉野布教所改名慶修院,院內四周環境清幽,至今仍完整保存不動明王石刻、百度石、寶形造屋頂的佛堂等文物與建築。
