文德之舞

金州孔子廟の丁祭に於て、文徳の舞を行ふ舞生は、南金書院生徒中より選ばれた三十二名の者で、各々両手に羽籥［ウヤク］を執り、楽につれて、羽籥を合し、或は離し、又両手を伸縮し、身を屈伸し、或は身体を左右に転じ等して舞ふのであるが、日本等の舞と違ひ、挙動が概して堅く、一種の体操の如き感を与へられる。（襄辨祀規譜巻第四之一、皇朝祭器楽舞録下巻参照）｜此の羽籥を執つて舞ふことは、古くから支那では行はれてゐるもので。礼記文王世子に「凡そ世子を学［オシ］へ及び士を学へるに必ず・・・秋冬は羽籥を学ふ」とあることによつても明かである。
