乃木勝典氏戰死の家

金州城の東北閻家楼会閻家楼屯七十二番地に在り。乃木大将の長男勝典少尉（二十六歳）が明治三十七年五月二十六日早朝歩兵第十五聯隊第十一中隊の小隊長として、金州城東門を攻撃したる際、城壁上から発射した露兵の小銃弾の為めに腹部に致命的戦傷を受け、此の閻家楼第二野戦病院に収容せられ、同日歩兵中尉に昇級し、翌二十七日午後死亡された写真は傷死された処の家屋である。尚金州城の東南八里庄に乃木中尉の碑があるが、其れは戦死の場所でなく、一時屍体を葬りたる処である。
