人蔘栽培 （開城）

不老長壽藥としての人蔘の名は早くより世に聞え、殊に朝鮮產は効力最も偉大なりとして珍重せられる。然し之を深山溪澤の間に探すには幾多の困難が伴ふので、今日では盛に平地で栽培されるに至つた。開城は其の中心地である。｜畫中握舍の如き列が其の栽培場である。播種後五年又はそれ以上にして市中に出される。｜朝鮮人蔘は今や總督府の專賣品である。｜（一九二七撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
