九鼎寺南北塔简介
九鼎寺南北塔位于祥云县城西北九鼎山，玉峰庵前后各一塔，一南一北，相距约60米。塔建于明代，北塔高约7.2米，为六角形密檐式实心砖塔，南面第四级有一龛洞，每级塔檐均用方砖叠涩出挑，基座边长1米。塔刹为石质球状。南塔高约9米，七级，为密檐式实心砖塔，四方形基座边长1.9米，级间用三层方砖出挑成檐，每级四面各一龛，各内置28塑像一躯。最上一级南面镶嵌小石碑，上刻“南无多宝如来”等字；北面镶嵌小石碑，上刻“大明嘉靖拾玖年陆月吉日造”等字。塔刹为石质葫芦顶。
九鼎寺南北塔是我县保存较完整的明代砖石结构建筑，是在滇西传播研究古代佛教文化的重要实物资料。
保护范围：南塔、北塔基座外缘线外围5米范围内。
建控地带：西至九鼎山山顶，北至箐底，南至山门梁子，东至公路的区域内。
