বাংলা: সংশপ্তক (ভাস্কর্য) : সংশপ্তক বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্মৃতিতর্পণমূলক ভাস্কর্যগুলোর অন্যতম। এই ভাস্কর্যটি জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অবস্থিত। এর স্থপতি শিল্পী হামিদুজ্জামান খান।বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রন্থাগারের সামনে এক পায়ের ওপর ভর করে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে এ ভাস্কর্যটি।১৯৯০ সালের ২৬ মার্চ এই ভাস্কর্যটি নির্মাণ করা হয়। এটি উদ্বোধন করেন তৎকালীন জাবির উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক কাজী সালেহ আহম্মেদ। শহীদ মিনার : ১৯৫২ সালের ভাষা আন্দোলন বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় জীবনের সদর্থক অর্জনে অন্তহীন প্রেরণার উৎস ও সূতিকাগার।এ আন্দোলনে নিহিত ছিল রাজনৈতিক স্বাধীনতার আকাঙ্ক্ষা যা ইতিহাসের বাঁক তৈরী করে ১৯৭১ সালের রক্তক্ষয়ী যুদ্ধের মাধ্যমে মূর্ত হয়ে উঠে। জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনারের স্থাপত্যশৈলীতে বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় ইতিহাসের গুরুত্বপুর্ণ বাকগুলোর ভূমিকাকে গৌরবময় মর্যাদায় বিধৃত করার চেষ্টা করা হয়েছে।এই স্থাপত্যকর্মটির নকশা করেছেন স্থপতি রবিউল হুসাইন।
English: The Sangsaptak is a sculpture at Jahangirnagar University commissioned to commemorate the martyrs of the Bangladesh Liberation War. Hamiduzzaman Khan was the architect of this sculpture.It was inaugurated by University's Vice Chancellor Professor Kazi Saleh Ahmed.
