Now Bank Mercantile used to be the Mashiah Borchoff House, Built in 1908 for a wealthy Uzbek merchant. it has a gateway topped by a pair of regal lions, and the portico is held up by Corinthian-style columns. Jerusalem is also known as "Ariel" (Lion of God) and belongs to the tribe of Judah that his symbol is the lion. The lion is a constant symbol in Jerusalem. In photography, detail, guardian lions.
