עברית: המנזר הכרמליתי (סטלה מאריס) בחיפה. סְטֶלָה מַארִיס (מלטינית: Stella Maris – "כוכב הים") הוא אזור בראש הכרמל ובו מתחמים של מנזר וכנסייה בני מאות שנים, קפלות ושאר בניינים השייכים למסדר הכרמליתי. המושג "כוכב הים" במסורת הנוצרית הקתולית הוא אחד האספקטים של הבתולה הקדושה, שבהקשר זה מוצגת כקשורה במיוחד אל הים ומגוננת על יורדי ים, מלחים ודייגים. המסדר הכרמליתי נוסד במקורו על הר הכרמל בתקופת ממלכת הצלבנים בידי נזירים שחיו במערות בהשראת אליהו הנביא. המסדר שגשג והתרחב משם לרחבי אירופה.
