Summary

Description
English: Water Symbolizes Equality. The height of waters in interconnected seas is equal (Communicating Vessels) and fixed so scientists decided it should be used to determine the height of the mountains and valleys in relation to their height sea level. The phrase "sea level" (Pnei Hayam) comes from, I think, the term Water Level (Pnei Hamayim) which appears for the first time in Genesis 1:2: And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. "The face of the waters" is not a personification of water, or an image of a person who has a face ... "Face of the waters" indicate that the water is always facing toward the sky. These two meanings in English are divided into two words that have a common denominator: FACE and SURFACE. Photo: Sea Level Sign on the way from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea
