Description
עברית: כנסיית פטרוס הקדוש היא כנסייה קתולית פרנציסקנית, השוכנת בכיכר קדומים, בפינה הצפון-מערבית של יפו העתיקה. כנסיית פטרוס הקדוש נקראת על שמו של פטרוס הקדוש, אחד משנים עשר השליחים של ישו והאפיפיור הראשון. מנזר קטן צמוד לכנסייה מצפון. המבנה ומגדל הפעמונים שלו נראים היטב מכל קו החוף של תל אביב ויפו, כמו גם מכיוון הים, ולכן הם שולבו בקצה הימני של סמל העיר תל אביב-יפו הקודם. שימו לב: אין לבלבל בין כנסייה זאת לבין הכנסייה הנקראת גם היא "פטרוס הקדוש" הנמצאת באזור אבו כביר בתל אביב.
