Description
Русский: Приют св. Марии Магдалины: улица Ленина, 11 / улица Николая Островского, 13, Пермь, Пермский край

Церковь Марии Магдалины при детском приюте дамского попечительства в городе Пермь на перекрестке ул.Покровская и ул.Верхотурская (ул.Ленина 11).

В 1889 году на средства Пермского дамского попечительства о бедных было начато строительство церкви Марии Магдалины. Церковь получила своё название в честь императрицы Марии Фёдоровны. Окончание и освещение домового храма состоялось в 1892 году. Изначально это была двухэтажная постройка в формах эклектики с элементами неоклассицизма, завершавшаяся куполом и колокольней.

Церковь закрыли в 1918 году К 1930-му году снесли купол и колокольню, надстроили третьиё этаж.

Сейчас здание занято институтом экологии и генетики организмов УрО РАН.
