This doesn't look like much, I know. BUT!!!!!! (and ohh what a But) …. this is a handheld 0.5 sec auto-exposure of Phobos-Grunt ( Фобос-Грунт ) passing overhead, through Cygnus in the above image, here in Cornwall, UK tonight (Sun 27/11/2011 @ 18:04 (time stamp on image metafile) however - Heaven's Above [ <a href="http://www.heavens-above.com/" rel="nofollow">www.heavens-above.com/</a> ] reports max altitude as 17:55… This is a bitter-sweet image. Firstly, I genuinely wasn't expecting to get anything on silicon - deciding to take a photo was a last min rushed decision. Secondly - Phobos-Grunt SHOULDN"T BE HERE :((… |
