| Description |
Поленница. Покровский Хотьковский женский монастырь Основан жителями Радонежской волости как мирской монастырь, в котором одновременно проживали и мужчины и женщины. В 1544 году подчинён Троице-Сергиеву монастырю и преобразован в женский, с 1764 года самостоятельный. В Xix веке разросся как один из центров паломничества рядом с Троице-Сергиевой лаврой и единственный в северо-восточном Подмосковье женский монастырь. Ограда построена в 1781 году, отдельно стоящая колокольня (не сохранилась) в 1834 году, келейные корпуса построены в Xix веке. В 1921 году преобразован в артель, окончательно закрыт в 1928 году, постройки заняты под жильё, школу механизаторов, к 1980-м годам частично заброшены. Вновь открыт в 1992 году на части территории. |
