Українська: Історія споруди починається у середньовіччі, коли поруч із замком стояв панський будинок. Його було розібрано у 1918 році, а через рік-два його перебудували у судову управу. Хоча, за іншими даними, споруда збудована у другій половині ХІХ століття. Що ж — поки що подаю дві версії, а тема забудови Калуша залишається перспективною у плані її вивчення та дослідження. Саме приміщення музичної школи споруджене у стилі класицизму.
До 1939 року тут знаходився повітовий суд, а далі — в’язниця НКВС. Коли у Калуші розпочав навчання хіміко-технологічний технікум, приміщення передали навчальному закладу, а згодом — музичній школі.1 серпня 1999 року на приміщенні школи відкрито пам’ятну дошку закатованим патріотам України (скульптор — Ігор Семак, архітектор — Петро Макогін). |
