Македонски: Магла преставува облак во допир со земјата. Маглата се разликува од другите облаци само по тоа што маглата ја допира површината на Земјата. Истиот облак кој не претставува магла во понискa област може да биде магла онаму каде се допира со повисоки области како што се врвови на ридови или планински гребени. Маглата се разликува од замагленоста само според нејзината густина. Маглата се дефинира како облак кој ја намалува видливоста на помалку од 1 километар, додека замагленоста ја намалува видливоста на помалку од 2 км. Маглата, всушност, претставува кондензирана (згусната) водна пареа во вид на микроскопски капки (а при температура под 0 °С ледени кристали) во приземниот воздушен слој тропосферата. Според потеклото маглите се класифицираат во три основни групи: магли на оладување (радиациони), магли на испарување (морски, езерски, над влажни терени), и смог.
English: Fog represents a cloud in contact with the ground. Fog differs from other clouds only in that the fog touches the Earth's surface. The same cloud that is not fog in a lower area may be fog where it touches higher areas such as hilltops or mountain ridges. Fog differs from haze only in its density. Fog is defined as cloud that reduces visibility to less than 1 kilometer, while haze reduces visibility to less than 2 km. Fog, in fact, is condensed (thickened) water vapor in the form of microscopic droplets (and at a temperature below 0 °C ice crystals) in the ground air layer, the troposphere. According to their origin, fogs are classified into three basic groups: cooling (radiation) fogs, evaporative fogs (sea, lake, over wet terrain), and smog. |
