Summary
(08).jpg |
English: МВСГ micro-wire high-voltage resistors in glass insulation. Developed in the 1960s specifically for analogue computers, also used in control systems and precision instruments. Rated only for DC operation (apparently, as no steps were made to reduce inductance of thousands of turns of wire - they made pretty good inductors...). Used manganine wire with 3 to 10 micrometer diameter.
