Description
Русский: Каменный костёл был построен в 1833 году и 1 октября освящён отцом Ремигием Апонасевичем. В 1856 году была построена кирпичная звонница с тремя колоколами по проекту Гавриила Батенькова. В 1862 году в костёле был установлен духовой орган, а в 1902 году — новый, более мощный орган. В 1937 году костёл был закрыт, в помещении костёла размещались клуб, овощехранилище, конюшня НКВД, планерный клуб ДОСААФ, и, наконец, планетарий. Католические храмы в городе отсутствовали вплоть до 1991 года, когда костёл был снова освящён.
