З 6 по 8 листопада в Одесі, делегація Морських Сил Збройних Сил Румунії на чолі з заступником командувача Морських Сил Збройних Сил Румунії контр-адміралом Міхаєм Панаітом відвідала Військово-Морські Сили Збройних Сил України. Зустріч було проведено з метою обговорення актуальних питань регіональної безпеки, розвитку співробітництва в Чорноморському регіоні, визначення пріоритетних напрямів двостороннього військового співробітництва. - Румунія наш найближчий партнер, який допомагає вітчизняному флоту перейти на стандарти НАТО, - зазначив заступник командувача ВМС ЗС України з бойової підготовки контр-адмірал Олексій Неїжпапа. В свою чергу заступник командувача Морських Сил Збройних Сил Румунії контр-адмірал Міхай Панаіт наголосив на готовності та виключній важливості розвитку співпраці між флотами Румунії та України. В ході візиту іноземні гості оглянули малі броньовані артилерійські катери, флагман українських ВМС фрегат “Гетьман Сагайдачний” та відвідали військовий музей.
