ДОМ КОНВОЙНОЙ КОМАНДЫ

Если будет желание то можете убедиться, что оно почти 180 лет стоит на перекрестке улиц Сибирская и Малая Ямская (теперешняя ул.Краснова) в городе Перми.

Не смог найти точные источники датировки строительства здания, но ориентировочно это 1827 год, а стоимость здания была всего 12000 рублей. Здесь размещалась конвойная команда — казарма для нижних чинов, находившихся в непосредственном ведении губернского воинского начальника, занимавшиеся исключительно охраной и конвоированием пересыльных арестантов через Пермь в Сибирь на каторгу, в ссылку.

После муниципализации здания по декрету от 20-го августа 1918 года здание продолжили использовать как казармы. А в последствии сюда же переехал штаб Пермского гарнизона. В постперестроечные годы здание пустовало. После реконструкции, в мае 2014 года здесь открылся ТЦ "Галерея".

Очевидцы рассказывали, что именно здесь работал ямщиком поэт-самоучка, автор песни «Однозвучно гремит колокольчик...» Иван Макаров.

А так-же есть записи, что по пути в ссылку и на каторгу у Сибирской заставы бывали Фёдор Михайлович Достоевский и Чернышевский Дмитрий Викторович.
