Description El Hotel Polissya (Готе́ль Полісся) era uno de los símbolos de la ciudad de Prypyat, situada junto a la central de Chernobyl. Cuando se produjo la catástrofe de 1986, este fue el hotel en el que durante unos años se alojaba el personal de las comisiones científicas que trabajaron en el reactor N4. Como curiosidad, durante los días posteriores a la explosión, la planta superior de este hotel se usó como torre de control improvisada para coordinar a los helicópteros que intentaban tapar el cráter de la explosión con sacos de material aislante para intentar reducir la radiacción que este emanaba.
