Українська: На фото зображено серію відбитків індентора на зразку, що зазнав терміко-хімічної обробки. Менші розміри відбитка свідчать про меншу глибину проникненя індентора в матеріал, а отже вищу твердість зразка. За відбитками видно, що насичена вуглецем ділянка (праворуч) має значно вищу твердість ніж необроблена (ліворуч).
Русский: На фото изображено серию отпечатков индентора на образце, подвергшемуся химико-термической обработке. Меньшие размеры отпечатка говорят об меньшой глубине проникновения индентора в материал, а следовательно о высокой твердости образца. По отпечаткам видно, что насыщенный углеродом участок (справа) имеет значительно более высокую твердость чем необработанный (слева).
English: The photo shows a series of indentor's prints on the detale that has undergone сhemical-thermal treatment. Smaller print size show less penetration into the material, and thus higher hardness of the detail.
