Русский: Бронзовка золотистая, может быть, и недостаточно изящна, но зато великолепно окрашена и отливает золотом. Кто не видел этого жука, похожего на большой изумруд, когда он сидит на ветке сирени, выделяясь своей блестящей окраской на нежном фоне лепестков! Он сидит неподвижно, день и ночь, наслаждаясь ароматом цветка. Только слишком жгучее солнце выводит жука из оцепенения, и он улетает.
English: The bronze is golden, maybe not elegant enough, but it is beautifully colored and shimmers with gold. Who has not seen this beetle, which looks like a large emerald, when it sits on a lilac branch, standing out with its brilliant color against a delicate background of petals! He sits still, day and night, enjoying the fragrance of the flower. Only too hot sun brings the beetle out of its stupor, and it flies away. |
